Champlain Islanders Developing Essential Resources, Inc.

Annual Fund

“Neighbors Helping Neighbors” may sound like an over-used cliché but it is at the heart of everything we do at CIDER. Our mission as a community organization is to enable every person in Grand Isle County, regardless of age or disability to live in their community independently and with dignity.
Providing access to essential services and resources as well as relieving social isolation are the goals of our programs and services. CIDER staff and volunteers provide rides, deliver meals, build home accessibility projects, loan adaptive equipment, lead exercise classes and other wellness activities, and provide information, referral, and a friendly ear.

ISLANDERS WORK TOGETHER TO ENSURE THAT NO NEIGHBOR IS LEFT WITHOUT A HELPING HAND

Whether you live in sight of the sandbar in South Hero or the Canadian border in Alburgh, CIDER is here to help. No individual is ever charged a fee for receiving a service or participating in a CIDER activity. Please take this opportunity to support your neighbors and community
